Argentinian-Croatian from Comodoro Rivadavia, but no need to pronounce that. I hold a degree in Communication (UNPSJB), I’m a Cultural Journalist (UNLP), and have a Master’s in Digital Marketing (IEMD), but above all, I’m a mom now, because that’s something superlative. I used to introduce myself as a “Retired Miss Chubut” and “Rock Journalist” — Mariana Enriquez called me that on the first day of my postgraduate program, and if Mariana Enriquez says you are something, then you absolutely are, no apologies. Yes, I was in Miss Argentina. Yes, for more than ten years I wrote about music, but I don’t anymore.
With my first book, Impatient Writings for People with No Time, I participated in the Buenos Aires International Book Fair. I was a TEDx Comodoro Rivadavia speaker. I launched a podcast with ADNSUR called Vida Millennial. I worked as a writer, TV host, press officer for bands and shows, did print advertising, served as Head of Communication & Press for Comodoro Turismo, and edited the city’s magazine.
As a journalist, I collaborated with media outlets in Patagonia, Buenos Aires, and across Latin America. I interviewed Marky Ramone, CJ Ramone, Cypress Hill, The Kooks, Charli XCX, Molotov, Marcelo Burlon, and many more. I worked at Lollapalooza Argentina for UltraBrit, and in 2022 I published Made in Patagonia. Bands and Solo Artists from the End of the World, the first book about music from the region.
I now live in Split and work at The Inmediato, the marketing agency I founded in 2015, which allows me to do what I love most in the world: be with my baby and create content.
So… what about you?
Truth is, motherhood made me lose myself for a while. Little by little, I’m remembering who I am, but with everything I’ve learned along the way. I no longer complain about not having enough time; I organize myself better, enjoy more, know what truly matters, and I no longer get lost chasing goal after goal that looked nice to achieve but didn’t really make me happy.
Now, some random facts:
- I have a Ramones tattoo; another one inspired by OK Computer by Radiohead; one that says “wind”; lightning; a tiara I share with my sister; a very ugly Kokopelli on my neck; and another that says Coco, for our cat who passed away in 2020. I showed the Ramones tattoo to CJ Ramone — he liked it.
- I’m introverted and quite solitary, but in Split I’ve become more social and no one can believe it.
- It’s already clear that my favorite bands are Ramones and Radiohead, but I also love Muse, System of a Down, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, and I’ve always been obsessed with everything Damon Albarn does. Still, I’m also a Taylor Swift fan — she’s an incredible songwriter and a marketing genius.
- I love cooking, but it either turns out really well or really badly. I invent recipes all the time and sometimes make very strange things.
- I played bass in two bands, stopped for a long time, and now, in Split, I’m starting again.
- What I love most is being with my family. Going to the beach, having a picnic, eating sandwiches or a simple charcuterie spread. That’s actually what we did at our wedding — we ate picadita and listened to Ramones.
- My favorite song is “Let Down” by Radiohead.
- I find vinyl records magical.
- My favorite food is picadita.
- From Argentina, I miss my family, and going to Isadora. Isadora is the best. If you have one nearby, please go for me.
- We have two cats, Perla and Mimo, who now live with us in Split.
- I said I would never get married, never be a mom, and never baptize my baby. I did all three.
- I love reading. Pessoa, Bukowski, Allende, Cortázar, Sábato, Simone de Beauvoir — but I also enjoy personal development books, even though sometimes they sound like people trying to pull you into a pyramid scheme.
- Magical realism is everything. Existentialism too.
- I always hated the gym, but now I love it.
- Sometimes I want to crawl into the tiny gaps between tiles or inside keyholes and stay there for a while.
- I met my husband, Axel, in 2015 and thought he was really cute because he was tall, wearing a System of a Down T-shirt, and skating. We dated for one month and then didn’t speak again until I ran into him at a show — and we’ve been together ever since.
- I love being alone and staying at home.
- I’m 1.76 m tall. Tall for Argentina, but in Croatia I’m average and sometimes feel short.
- I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and endometriosis — like Gigi Hadid and Alexa Chung, respectively.
I’m happy with this bio because the personal details far outweigh the professional ones. Feeling like a person is one of my 2025 goals. #alienhada
Hice esas tres cosas.
- Me encanta leer.
- Mido 1,76.
